As mentioned in the home page, I have been involved in Volleyball, Cross Country, Track & Field, Choir, Dance Company, Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Sterling Scholar, and the Miss Piute Royalty. These five pictures have much meaning to me as they show important moments of my life. The first picture is from the 2022 Utah Cross Country State Championships. This was my senior season of cross country, where my mindset toward running changed completely. I used to hate running, but now I love it. Doing cross-country helped me to grow as a person. I not only became a better runner, but had found a love for running, gained confidence, found mental and physical strength, and learned that if I try, I can improve. The biggest growth I experienced with cross country was the importance and effectiveness of goal setting, which I can use in all areas of my life. The second picture is from my solo "Lights" by Journey in the 2023 PHS Choir Rock & Roll Show. The process of having a solo is terrifying, but I was able to cope with my nerves and anxiety as I performed. The third picture is the 2022-2023 PHS FBLA Chapter. This year, my group for the Business Financial Plan took first place at State FBLA and were invited to the national competition in Atlanta, Georgia. This was the most rewarding time in my FBLA years and I'm so grateful for the things I learned about business through this program. The fourth picture is of me volunteering at the Circleville Elementary Preschool. I volunteered there for one school year in the mornings and found my future career path through this. The fifth picture is of the 2022 Miss Piute Crowning. During my talent performance on my violin, there was an unfortunate situation with my sheet music and I had to push through and still play my piece half memorized. I ended up as the Miss Piute First Attendant and was so proud of myself for being brave enough to compete and for going on with my performance.
